Simone Schermi

Violinist & Cultural Organiser · Imperia, Italien

Classical music as a living art form, honouring tradition and shaping its future.

Simone Schermi first picked up the violin at eleven, today he carries classical music from the concert stage to the European Parliament. The Italian violinist and cultural organiser (born 1997 in Imperia) graduated with highest honours from the „N. Paganini“ Conservatory in Genoa and completed his Master's in violin (full marks, 2023) and music pedagogy (2025) at the Freiburg University of Music. He received the DAAD Prize 2025 and the Deutschlandstipendium twice, spoke at TEDx twice and is artistic director of the Bach Collegium Freiburg. At ahead x he connects that sound world with an evening about artificial intelligence (AI), bringing an international, emotional note to the stage.
